A simple is like you make a sentence like. The cat walked. And it always has to have a full stop at the end.

And the compound sentences are like. I went to the store but there was no candy. See what i did i put to sentences together.

That's a big moon!

Why is the moon red?

Go back to white.

This moon is way too big.

Why is there warter on the side?

Get outta there!

The rain is making a flood.

The’r going to die!

Question is like you ask something

Command is when you tell someone to do something.

Exclamations are exclamatory sentences.

Statement is like declarative sentences.

Sentence Expansion

We are learning to use a strategy that helps us expand sentences

 Oscar cried

When: Four weeks ago

Where: at the park

Why: Because he got lost

Four weeks ago, Oscar cried, Because he got lost in the park.

They had an argument.

When: two months ago

Where: at his house

Why: Because someone broke a vase

Two months ago, at there house these parents had an argument, because someone broke a vase

Writing - Tuna (Eels

Over the last couple of weeks we have been researching information about Tuna (eels). We have been learning to write a report using the information we have found.

Our challenges were to include a complex sentence and to use a hyphen followed by a list.

Tunas are smiley sliprey and wet. Tunas like being in the dark. And they like being in cold warter. They like to eat fish, but they have no teeth, so they can only eat small fish.
